Michael Clayton

March 22nd, 2012

Michael Clayton (George Clooney) is an in-house “fixer” at one of the largest corporate law firms in New York. At the behest of the firm’s co- founder Marty Bach (Sydney Pollack), Clayton, a former prosecutor from a family of cops, takes care of Kenner, Bach & Ledeen’s dirtiest work. Clayton cleans up clients’ messes, handling anything from hit-and-runs and damaging stories in the press to shoplifting wives and crooked politicians. Though burned out and discontented in his job, Clayton is inextricably tied to the firm. At the agrochemical company U/North, the career of in-house chief counsel Karen Crowder (Tilda Swinton) rests on the settlement of the suit that Kenner, Bach & Ledeen is leading to a seemingly successful conclusion. When the firm’s top litigator, the brilliant Arthur Edens (Tom Wilkinson), has an apparent breakdown and tries to sabotage the entire case, Marty Bach sends Michael Clayton to tackle this unprecedented disaster and, in doing so, Clayton comes face to face with the reality of who he has become. Horizonhobby.com How To - Setup your Head Lock Gyro the easy way

March 16th, 2012

You will be able to find more information or purchase this gyro at this link: www.horizonhobby.com Headlock Gyros have been the main thing that makes high performance helicopters controllable by the average modeler. I have worked for a long time and suffered through a number of frustrating Gyro setups before a friend showed me a simple way to have a headlock gyro “locked” from the first liftoff. You will see that it is different from most instruction manuals. Basically the idea is that we do not need the “Gain Mode” in heli flight. Except for the bench mechanical setup session we will not use the gain mode thereafter. The Head Lock function is by far the most important for your helicopter and with this setup you can count on your heli tail rotor being in trim from the first lift off. Our video will outline the steps. They are included below for your reference. Watch this video, and then try it on your own collective pitch heli. It really is easy. First I’ll assume you have your main controls setup in your Transmitter. In the transmitter: 1) Make sure you have the rudder trim tab and sub trim functions set to “0″. 2) Set the TX rudder travel to 100% 3) If you use the Retract Switch or Aux 2 lever to switch Gyro modes set the Headlock position to about +60% (nothing critical here we will fine tune later) and rate mode to -30% (not critical) 4) At this point set the TX gyro lever in the Rate Mode position (for setup only!) In the helicopter: 5) Fix the servo output arm such

Lethal Weapon

March 9th, 2012

Boxoffice superstar and Academy Award-winner Mel Gibson (”Maverick,” “Braveheart”) and Danny Glover (”The Color Purple,” “Grand Canyon”) team up as LA cops in the top-grossing action movie that spawned three sequels. Directed by Richard Donner (”Superman,” “Maverick”), Gibson is a volatile, unregistered risk-taker, known as a “lethal weapon” by his colleagues. Glover is the conservative detective with a solid reputation. Forced to form an uneasy alliance, they begin to unravel the mystery of an apparent suicide that turns out to be murder — and more. The New York Times calls this “a high-voltage thriller which packs an undeniable wallop;” Gene Shalit calls it “riveting!…a pair of heroes I hope we’ll be seeing again;” and Joel Siegel says it’s “a detective thriller that just won’t quit…this one is so good it will be the standard for action films all year long!” Co-starring Academy Award-nominee Gary Busey (”The Firm,” “Under Siege”).
