My 4 year old son saw these advertised on Disney or Nick for months before Christmas and he HAD to have them.
These are fun when they work, but are difficult to fly. My husband does ok, but my son has problems (yes, I know the box says 8+)
You have to charge them for 20-30 min to get 5-6 min of air time. It’s like you finally get them going and then the battery dies. Bad enough for an adult, but a kid, well, it’s even worse.
After the 2nd time flying one of the planes, it just spun around and wouldn’t fly… they are super sensitive. For the price, I think they could have dome better.

My son received this for Christmas. After charging the helicos, he started playing with them. It was a lot of fun, although extremely hard to control the helicos. When he pulled them out to play with them again the next day, one helico stopped working. The upper rotor refuses to spin. I contacted the company that makes the helicos, asking what could be wrong, how can it be fixed and if it can how will they replace it? It’s been 3 weeks and I have yet to hear from them. So what is the good to having only 1 fighting helico, which goes where it pleases so I can’t see how you can make them fight. Very disappointing for a 7 year old, and a shame that the company has so little follow up. I will not buy another product from this company.

Loved the copters while they worked! One started spinning out of control after the third use, then stopped working. The other has now stopped working after one week of use! $80.00 is a lot of money for such a few times of use!

This product worked for about 50 minutes then one of the heliopters stopped working and has not been able too . For the cost of this item I would hope that it would be more durable than that. I would like to return it but have not gotten a response to my request.
